WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, the White House will be meeting with large technology companies for methods to control the coronavirus outbreak. Over 1,000 people in the U.S. and 100,000 people have been affected globally by this contagious respiratory illness.
The meeting will happen between the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and tech giants like Facebook, Google, Twitter, Apple and Microsoft.
The meeting shall be led by U.S. Chief Technology Officer Michael Kratsios with a few companies participating via teleconference.
On Wednesday, Fox Business first reported the meeting.
Members of the airline, financial and healthcare industries are going to be meeting with the White House officials to contain the coronavirus impact by controlling its spread.
