LONDON – Julie Walters, who is one of Britain’s most famous actresses, underwent surgery to remove 12 inches of her colon followed by a course of chemotherapy after battling her diagnosis with stage three bowel cancer.
Walters claims that now she is “really well”. On being diagnosed with cancer, Walters described a feeling of shock.
Julie Walters rose to prominence for her role in the 1983 movie Educating Rita and the portrayal of a mature student to an alcoholic professor.
With the most recent scan, Julie Walters is now clear.
The illness had her to be cut from certain scenes of the upcoming film The Secret Garden, starring alongside Colin Firth.
