224 convenience stores in Taiwan bought by Carrefour
PARIS (Business) – French retailer Carrefour agreed to buy Wellcome Taiwan from Dairy Farm, in order to expand its Taiwan footprint and in the fast-growing convenience stores format.
With an enterprise value of 97 million euros, the deal covers the purchase of 224 proximity stores in good locations along with a warehouse.
Wellcome Taiwan’s net sales was around 390 million euros in 2019.
