Binh Duong New City, Vietnam, December 3 — Horasis, a global visions community committed to advancing collaborative solutions for sustainable growth, announces the opening of the Horasis Asia Meeting 2023 in Binh Duong New City, Vietnam.
At the meeting which will be held from December 3-4, over 300 leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society from Asia and beyond will gather in Vietnam’s emerging gateway for technology, trade and services, conveniently located less than one hour from Ho Chi Minh City Airport.
Launched in 2016, the annual Horasis Asia Meeting is one of the world’s foremost discussion forums, offering an ideal platform to explore and foster cooperation, impact investing and sustainable growth across Asia. The location of the meetings rotates annually and has been held in Bangkok, Thailand (2016), Kolkata, India (2017), Binh Duong New City, Vietnam (2018, 2019), digitally amid the COVID-19 epidemic (2020, 2021) and Kitakyushu, Japan (2022).
Vietnam is a country with vast economic potential. In recent decades, it has implemented sweeping reforms to boost its economic performance, including easing business regulations, which are bearing fruit. The government has also set the aspirational goal of achieving high-income status by 2045. What’s more, Vietnam is making great progress towards sustainable development, becoming the world’s tenth-largest producer of solar power in 2021.
Of course, to achieve high-income status, as well as the country’s objective to reduce emissions to net zero by 2050, much dedication and collaboration remains between Vietnam and its global partners. Against this backdrop, the Horasis Asia Meeting will identify the trends that will shape the country‘s economic development and drive it towards a new, global growth story.

At the Horasis Asia Meeting, some of the greatest business and government minds from Asia and beyond will meet to debate how Vietnam and other Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) members will advance sustained development and inclusive economic growth.”
The Horasis Asia Meeting 2023 is co-hosted by the Binh Duong Province and Becamex IDC, and will be held at the Binh Duong Convention Center. Plenary delegates will debate on a host of pressing issues, including revitalizing Asian economic growth, addressing the climate emergency as it relates to Asia, supporting Asian entrepreneurship, and how the region can be a driving force for global economic transformation, among many others.
