Maksym Kozytskyi, writing on Telegram, expressed his grief over the loss of life. Highlighting the devastating impact on the young generation. He emphasised the tragic irony of a 95-year-old survivor of World War II falling victim to the attack.
Rescue efforts are underway as emergency services work to clear debris and locate any individuals who may be trapped under the rubble. Although Lviv is located in western Ukraine, far from the front lines in the south and east. It has previously experienced attacks from Russia. Just last month, officials reported a drone attack on critical infrastructure in the city.
As the investigation into the rocket strike in Lviv continues, Ukraine is determined to address the situation and hold those responsible accountable for this assault on its civilian population.
