I am really so proud to be a first Saudi as im present my country in this sport around the world.
Jumping off a plane is not a thing that we do every day. It will take a lot of courage to attempt such a thing. Some people are still afraid to get on a plane. Where did you get your courage?
From a long time , I used to do adventure sport, where I tried many of them , I really found my self in Skydive sport , and when I became a first Saudi female , I said to myself “ I want this and I want to have in my country “
Saudi Arabia is regarded as a nation where women have less freedom. (that is the perception that people from other parts of the world feel). Achieving such a feat while bearing the flag of the Kingdom. What are your thoughts on this?
As Saudi Women , I really practice my life as I want and I have my freedom , I have my job and my telent and I really love my life in Saudi Arabia . as my country supports all female in Sport.
As well as I always heard many positive comments about what im doing , especially after jumping with SAUDI ARBIA FLAG.
What were the struggles you faced in this journey of yours?
In this sport, I was struggling with my self where I was scared and excited in one time .
Also there was something inside me said “ I really want this “ , it was a little bit hard to deal with kind of feelings.
Do skies were always there in your dreams from your childhood? What training have you taken so far?
When I was kid, I asked my self “ can we fly “ , after that , I found the answer in this sport .
I always try to improve, develop myself and have advanced training.
Attempting the height no other woman in your country ever tried. Were you not afraid?
Off course I had this kind of feelings , but the passion to this post is strong in my self.
It is a risky thing to do, believing you will never fail and putting your life into it. Who is your biggest support in life?
My younger sister “ Hanan” , she is always the one who supports me in my life.
After the jump, you unfurled the flag, what was the motive behind that thing?
It is my goal , when I have this name “ First Saud Female Skydiver “ , I put a goal to jump with biggest Saudi Flag , and I started with this jump , until the day my goal comes.
Apart from skydiving you are practicing mountaineering too, how is that going?
Climbing sport has apart in my life as well , and now Im climbing judge in the competition of Saudi Climbing and Hiking Federation.
