Courteney Cox cleans Hollywood Walk of Fame star: ‘Someone’s gotta do it’
Courteney Cox, a Friends alum, has just channelled her inner Monica to tidy up the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The actress documented the entire incident on Instagram.
She can be seen walking around with a roll of paper towels and a spray bottle in the footage.
She was also wearing basic blue jeans and a grey full-sleeved blouse.
“Someone’s gotta do it,” she captioned the clip.
“Literally right on the star. You can go around!” Cox joked, seemingly in character, to a group of pedestrians who walked on top of her honour.
The “Scream VI” star also spiffed up stars belonging to pals Laura Dern, 56, Jennifer Aniston, 54, and Reese Witherspoon, who turned 47 on Wednesday.
The “Legally Blonde” alum appreciated Cox’s efforts, commenting. “Thanks for keeping us clean, Court!!,” while David Spade, 58, wrote: “Do mine! Wtf!”
“Only the best thing ever,” noted fellow “Friends” star Lisa Kudrow, 59. Who is the only lead actress from the 1990s sitcom not to have a star on the Walk of Fame.
Kudrow and Aniston attended Cox’s Walk of Fame ceremony last month, but their male costars Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer were noticeably absent.
Aniston, who starred as Rachel Green in the series, and Kudrow, who portrayed Phoebe Buffay, praised Cox as a “sister” to them, pointing out they have been real-life friends for 30 years.
“We’re very honored to be here today to speak on your behalf as your co-workers, your friends and your family, your sisters,” Aniston said at the podium.
“To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney. She is responsible for all of that,” she added. “From the beginning of when we met her, she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving, interested in everything about you.”
