Katara organizes the festival in cooperation with Maps International as part of its efforts to enrich the local art scene and strengthen Qatar’s presence as a global art hub.

QIAF 2022, which will bring together 300 artists from 65 countries, aims to showcase participating artists and promote their works through print, electronic, digital and social media, interact with invited art collectors, art investors, potential buyers and many other shows.

The festival includes 9 diverse art activities, including a Qatari cultural tour, a painting and sculpture exhibition, a live painting seminar, an artistic fashion show, expert-led classes, an art panel discussion, an art exhibition, a cultural gathering and a dinner.

Qatar International Art Festival is an international platform for artists from Qatar and worldwide to appear on the Qatari art scene. The festival also registers distinguished Qatari participation.

More than 500 artists from 70 countries registered with us this year. As Qatar has quickly become a hub of cultural and artistic activities, more and more artists want to come to the country.

There have been different art-related events in Qatar. however, plan different events for each day at the QIAF. Art exhibitions, live painting symposiums, artistic fashion shows, master classes, and cultural tours are some of the highly awarded events held at QIAF.

QIAF is the region’s signature arts event that connects artists worldwide. Along with other programs, it is extremely important to bring together global art expert-connoisseurs, art critics and art scholars from the region on the shared platform. It provides a global platform for local and international artists.

QIAF provides individual identity through media, press, etc. Through QIAF, there is a step to learn a new space, a great network, meet art experts and influencers one-on-one, hone artistic skills, explore new ways of creating and many more.
