Expo 2020 Dubai’s Alif – The Mobility Pavilion – welcomed it’s one millionth visitor through the doors yesterday (28 February).
The lucky girl, Selina Sulaiman, four, was treated to a tour of the pavilion with her family, and gifted a goody bag, and a certificate to mark the occasion.
Alif takes visitors on a voyage through time and space, to discover how people, goods, ideas and data are interacting in ever more complex ways.
Selina and her parents have visited Expo 2020 Dubai six times so far, and are planning to keep returning to complete all the pavilions. Father Shaukat Sulaiman said: “It is so good to be at Expo, everyone is always happy and smiling. Alif is an amazing pavilion, to follow all the way into the future is so impressive, and it is a good learning experience as well.”
In a week of achievements, Terra – the Sustainability Pavilion – also welcomed their one millionth visitor, and school visit numbers to Expo 2020 Dubai – ‘the world’s best classrom’ – passed the 500,000 mark.
