The venue was filled with fitness enthusiasts and their supporters. On the ground on Day 1 were different types of fitness equipment, including ski and rowing machines on the first day of the heats. The idea behind this is to promote a healthy lifestyle, and to also encourage people to work out and keep fit. The participants were selected through online registration. We are happy that we were able to attract such a large number of competitors.”
