Football fans gather at Expo 2020 Dubai’s Festival Garden to watch live-screen of Manchester City’s crucial clash against Chelsea

DUBAI  –Ahead of Saturday’s table-topping clash, Expo 2020 Dubai invited football fans to a live screening of current Premier League leaders Manchester City’s game against No 2 rivals Chelsea at Festival Garden, the newest sports and games complex at the site.

Fans of the Sky Blues were treated to an afternoon of entertainment, with Manchester City’s official mascot, Moonbeam, joining supporters and posing for photographs before the match was shown on giant screens.

Young football fanatics also got a kick out of watching a live performance from the Middle East’s best-known footballing freestyler, Ammar Freez, as the three-time UAE champion showcased his skills ahead of the all-important match.

Expo 2020 Dubai is the Training Kit Partner of Manchester City. Under the deal, Expo 2020 branding features on the training kits of the renowned football club for both the men’s and women’s teams for the 2021/22 season. In return, Manchester City hosts daily football sessions at the Expo site, led by dedicated coaching staff, who apply the same training methodology used by the teams on the training pitches in Manchester.
