DUBAI, 27 November 2021 – Runners of all ages and abilities braced themselves on the starting line next to the Russia Pavilion on Saturday morning, ready for Run the World with Cisco – a 1.3km fun run through all three of Expo’s Thematic Districts.
Before setting off, runners were advised to stretch and hydrate, and were told they could run, walk or even moonwalk the route if they wished. The youngest participants were pushed along in their buggies by mum or dad.
The simple, circular route took in Ghaf Avenue, arched along the back of the Al Wasl dome, and then ended at the finish line between the Luxembourg and UK Pavilions. Cisco is the Official Premier Digital Network Partner of Expo 2020 Dubai.
