PM’s plan to stop benefits hike to be opposed by some Conservative MPs: FT

LONDON (UK) – The Financial Times has reported that some parliamentarians hailing from the Conservative Party will vote against Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday over his plans to put an end to the emergency increase to benefits for 6 million people.

Former work and pensions secretary Stephen Crabb and Paul Maynard, former transport minister, are among those who are expected to vote against the PM’s plans, said the report.
