Italy prepares new anti-COVID stimulus package

ROME (ITALY) – Deputy Economy Minister Laura Castelli said on Tuesday, Italy is preparing another stimulus package to contain the spread of the new coronavirus.

Castelli said in a Facebook post, “Again this time the decree will be accompanied by a stimulus package to support companies and the supply chain that will be hit by restrictions placed on their activities.”

Italy said on Monday, “We are already working on it and it will be ready shortly.” It would make tougher COVID-19 restrictions while holding back from re-introducing a nationwide lockdown.
