Will make it easier for men to take time off to care for their babies: Suga

TOKYO (JAPAN) – Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga of Japan vowed on Thursday to take steps to make it easier for men to take time off to care for their new-born babies. This comes as the population ages and shrinks at an alarming rate.

During a meeting to discuss social security reforms, Suga said that he planned to initiate steps towards realising insurance coverage for fertility treatment by the end of the year.
