Turkey wants to continue Armenian genocide in Nagorno-Karabakh: Pashinyan

LONDON (UK) – Turkish and Azeri actions over Nagorno-Karabakh amounted to a “terroristic attack” that was a continuation of the Armenian genocide.

“What we are facing is an Azeri-Turkish international terroristic attack,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told Sky News. “To me there is no doubt that this is a policy of continuing the Armenian genocide and a policy of reinstating the Turkish empire.”

Between 1915 and 1923, as many as 1.5 million Armenians were slaughtered by the Ottoman empire troops.

Although Turkey acknowledges that many Armenians were killed in clashes with Ottoman troops during World War One, it contests the figures and denies that killings were orchestrated.
