Household gatherings will be limited to stop pandemic spread in Scotland: Sturgeon

LONDON (UK) – Scotland will put in place additional curbs on household gatherings which go further than Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s new restrictions, said First Minister Nicola Sturgeon. This is to stem the spread of the pandemic.

“We intend, as Northern Ireland did yesterday, to also introduce nationwide additional restrictions on household gatherings, similar to those already in place in the west of Scotland,” she said on Tuesday.
