China refutes allegations of hacking attempt on Moderna

BEIJING (CHINA) – China refutes charges on Friday that hackers were involved in its government targeted biotech firm Moderna Inc, to derive data. It is also a leading US-based coronavirus vaccine research developer.

Foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said the accusations are baseless and lack evidence. In a news briefing, he said that China does not need to and does not engage in technology theft.
