Berlin to make COVID testing mandatory for travellers returning from risky countries

BERLIN (GERMANY) – German authorities are all set to make coronavirus screening mandatory for travellers returning from high-risk countries from next week. This was announced by a health ministry spokesperson during a briefing on Wednesday.

On Monday, the government announced plans for free, mandatory coronavirus testing for holidamakers returning from high-risk countries to stem the spread of the infection with the holiday season kicking in.
