MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia’s tally of fatalities related to the novel coronavirus crossed 12,000 on Friday. As many as 186 new deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.
The crisis response centre marked as many as 6,406 new cases, bringing its nationwide tally of infections to 759,203, which is the fourth highest caseload in the world.
The death toll in the country now remains at 12,123. Russia said 539,373 people have recovered from the infection.
