LONDON (UK) – Passengers from the US who are arriving into England will not be exempted from quarantine rules, said Britain’s transport minister Grant Shapps on Friday.
Replying to a question whether the US would be placed on a ‘red-list’ of countries to which the quarantine rules apply, the minister said: “I’m afraid it will be.”
“The US from a very early stage banned flights from the UK and from Europe so there isn’t a reciprocal arrangement in place,” he told the BBC.
