Thailand reports no new COVID-19 cases, fatalities

BANGKOK (ASIA) – No new COVID-19 cases or fatalities were reported in Thailand on Monday. The total number of confirmed cases stands at 3,135 while the tally of coronavirus related deaths stands at 58.

It is the second time in five days that no new cases were reported. For the past 21 days, there has been no local transmission. As many as 2,987 patients have recovered.

All recent cases have been found in quarantined Thais who returned from abroad, said Taweesin Wisanuyothin, a spokesman for the government’s COVID-19 task force.
