(UK) – Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson is set to hold Brexit talks with European Commission’s President Ursula von der Leyen.

UK officials warn Johnson that a pre-autumn agreement needs to take place.

“We need a broad agreement in place by the summer. We can’t still be having this conversation in September or October.”

“As soon as the EU accepts we will not conclude an agreement on that basis, we will be able to make progress.”
