World No. 2 coronavirus hotspot Brazil reports 653 new deaths

SAO PAULO (World) – Brazil has become the world’s No. 2 coronavirus hotspot after the U.S. with 653 new coronavirus deaths reported on Sunday.

This brings up the total number of coronavirus fatalities to 22,666.

363,211 confirmed cases have been reported in Brazil so far, up 15,813 from Saturday.

The U.S. has over 1.6 million cases and nearly 100,000 deaths.
