Coronavirus death toll in the UK up by 170 marking lowest increase since March

LONDON (UK) – UK’s coronavirus death toll rose by 170 to 34,636. This marks the lowest coronavirus death toll increase since March 24.

The increase was sharply down from the 468 death toll from a day earlier. This is also the lowest increase since the UK brought in a coronavirus lockdown on March 23.

The rise in the UK coronavirus death toll peaked at 1,172 on April 21 and has been falling steadily since then. Britain’s coronavirus death toll currently is said to be over 40,000.
