‘Fake oil’ sprayed by climate activists onto Barclays Canary Wharf HQ

LONDON (UK) – Extinction Rebellion group’s climate activists sprayed “fake oil” onto the Barclays headquarters in Canary Wharf in London on Thursday, calling on Barclay’s to divest from fossil fuels.

The biodegradable and vegan “oil” was sprayed onto Barclays by Extinction Rebellion. During the protest, Extinction Rebellion activists were social distancing in accordance with coronavirus guidelines.

The activists opened up a banner saying “Stop Fossil Fuels”.
