99-year-old Captain Tom raises over £12 million with walk for NHS

LONDON (UK) – 99-year-old British war veteran Tom Moore raised over 12 million pounds, by walking his garden for the British National Health Service.

Captain Moore has been using a rollator to move after breaking his hip. He set himself the target to walk the 25 metres surrounding his garden 100 times before April 30, when he celebrates his 100th birthday.

Moore has served in India, Burma and Sumatra during World War Two.

His family posted the video which showed Moore walking around his garden.
