29 new coronavirus cases, three new deaths reported in Thailand

BANGKOK (Asia) – Thailand reported 29 new cases of coronavirus and 3 new deaths, bringing the national tally to 2,672 cases and 46 fatalities. The outbreak first escalated in Thailand in January.

14 of these new patients were linked to previous cases while five had no links to old cases. 10 who tested positive are awaiting an investigation into how infected, according to Taweesin Wisanuyothin, the government’s Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration’s spokesman.

Thailand also reported the recovery and discharge of 1,593 patients.
