TAIPEI (Asia) – A third coronavirus infected person has died in Taiwan, according to the government late on Sunday.
The total number of cases on the island approached 300.
The person who died was a man in his 40s who got infected overseas and had returned to Taiwan after holidaying in Austria and the Czech Republic.
On Sunday, Taiwan reported that its virus case total had risen to 298.
