In England, 28 people have died after testing positive for coronavirus. This brings up the total number of deaths to 414. The fatalities were seen in people between the ages of 47 and 93 and all but the 47-year-old had underlying health conditions, according to the National Health Service England. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that over 400,000 people volunteered to help the National Health Service (NHS) during the coronavirus crisis within a 24-hour period since the government appeal. World News

The U.S. Senate unanimously backed a $2 trillion (1.69 trillion pounds) bill aimed at helping unemployed workers and industries hurt by the coronavirus epidemic, as well as providing billions of dollars to buy urgently needed medical equipment.

After bitter negotiations, the deeply divided Senate came together and passed the bill by a 96-0 vote, which sent the massive stimulus package to the House of Representatives for a vote on Friday.

President Donald Trump, whose top aides helped negotiate the bipartisan measure, promised to sign it into law as soon as it reaches his desk. “I will sign it immediately,” Trump said.
