London-based newspaper City AM to suspend printing due to coronavirus

London-based newspaper City AM shall be temporarily suspended its print operation as the publishing industry braces for the coronavirus outbreak impact.

“Following Friday’s edition (Mar. 20) City A.M. will temporarily suspend its print operation until our readers start returning to the capital. The digital edition will be available on CityAM.com, as it always has been.”

No redundancies were being made by the group but measures are being implemented to cut costs.

The staff, including management and reporters, shall be facing a pay cut of 50% next month.
