Total number of coronavirus infections in Japan rise to 1,484

TOKYO – Japan coronavirus infection numbers rose to 1,484 on Sunday, spreading at a faster pace than the previous day.

This number includes infections 697 cases from the Diamond Princess cruise ship and 14 returnees on China’s charter flights.

Coronavirus deaths in Japan related to the coronavirus stand at 29, up one from a day before. The total number of deaths include 7 from the cruise ship.
