Russian, Turkish foreign ministers discuss matters related to Syria, others

MOSCOW- Russian and Turkish Foreign Ministers Sergei Lavrov and Mevlut Chavushoglu were in agreement on the need to create a “favourable atmosphere” to make the working relations between their countries better.

“The ministers have declared in favour of the adoption of measures to create a favourable atmosphere that will facilitate the effectiveness of the dialogue on the implementation of agreements in support of the Syrian settlement and other issues on the agenda of Russian-Turkish relations.”

Over a phone call, Lavrov and Chavushoglu also discussed thepreparations for the meeting between the Russian and Turkish Presidents Vladimir Putin and Tayyip Erdogan which is set to happen soon.
