Harry insists on informality by dropping Prince title as he begins last royal duties

EDINBURGH – British Prince Harry began his last bit of royal duties requesting informality from the audience by asking them to simply call him Harry.

On Wednesday, Harry clarified that the audience listening to his speech on sustainable travel in Edinburgh should drop his royal title.

Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth’s grandson, and his wife Meghan Markle and he announced that they shall be stepping down from their royal duties as senior royals to spend more time in North America.

Even though he shall no longer be addressed as His Royal Highness, Harry shall still be a prince.

However, before his speech, event host Ayesha Hazarika made it clear to delegates that everyone was to only call him Harry.

Harry, Meghan and their son Archie have been in Canada for a while now. Harry returned to Britain, according to local media, on Tuesday.

On Friday, Harry will be visiting the north London Abbey Road studios to meet Jon Bon Jovi and Invictus Games Choir as they record a single for charity.
