Over 200 flights at Amsterdam’s Schiphol disrupted by Storm Ciara

AMSTERDAM – On Sunday, approximately 240 flights flying in and out of Amsterdam’s Schipol were cancelled due to the powerful Storm Ciara.

The storm Ciara blew off into the Atlantic with gusts of wind reaching up to 120 km/hr.

Trees were downed, public transportation was disrupted and some buildings’ roofs blew off too because of Storm Ciara.

Soccer matches in the Netherlands were cancelled too along with other outdoor sporting events.
