Trump- Taliban must curb violence for meaningful Afghanistan talks

WASHINGTON- On Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump told his Afghanistan counterpart, Ashraf Ghani, that meaningful negotiations cannot take place until Taliban reduces violence significantly.

President Trump reinforced the need to create a significant and lasting violence reduction by Taliban to facilitate meaningful negotiations on the future of Afghanistan.

Trump was in Davos, Switzerland attending the World Economic Forum.
